June 4th is an anniversary of 1st partialy free elections of 1989 leading to the fall of communism in Poland. Each year next to a former coffee place “Niespodzianka” (a surprise), where there were Solidary movement HQ during those elections, people gather to remember the ideals that allowed them to win. The coffee place does not exist any more, some of those ideals neither. But those who remember are still among us.
