Warsaw, Poland. With Presidential Elections closing by (first round to take place on June 28th) a debate of all candidates took place in public television. During the debate supporters of key candidates gathered next to state’s owned television building watching the debate on a live stream and waiting for their leaders.
Multiple pro-democratic organisations, including Ogolnopolski Strajk Kobiet (National Women’s Strike), KOD (Democracy Defenc Committee) and SKA (Students Antifascist Committee), along with LGBT community members and supporters marched through the city in protest against the government (due to corruption, swindles and anti-democratic solutions introduced) and against the President Andrzej Duda – where the march ended – who that started to use anti-LGBT retorics in his election campaign.
LGBT Community members gathered dancing in front of the Presidential Palace in Warsaw, Poland to emphasize their existance in the society and equal rights they should have. Presindent Andrzej Duda, fighting for his 2nd term in the office, started to use anti-LGBT retorics in his campaign. In his opinion LGBT are not people but an ideology. Law and Justice party members followed his words, including such disgracefull comments as “those people (LGBT) are not equall and never will be”.
With President Andrzej Duda to vistit Donald Trump this week, right wing activist and deputies gathered in front of the Presidential Palace in a call not to obey what’s allegedly in “JUST” (or “447”) act. Justice for Uncompensated Survivors Today Act adopted by United States Congress in 2017 allegedly contains provision calling for restitution of property even if the owners died without leaving any descendants. Right wing activists, along with representing them Konfederacja party made this part of their campaign building on a threat for Poland to be forced to reimburse 300 bln EUR to Jewish community.

The protest took place on a square where all official state celebrations take place, as well is known for masses with The Pope, John Paul II. Belarusians and Poles gathered in Warsaw city center in a Solidarity with Belarus. Participants protested against last dictatorship in Europe, where Alexander Lukashenko – although expected to have only 3% support in the society – holds power using political repressions and by arresting his opponents before upcomming elections. All speakers, including Polish parliment deputees emphasized need to support Belarusians in creating a real democracy. Polish deputees declared, that as Belarusians do not have a fair government of their own, they can all count on Polish one to represent them in Europe.

Young climate activists gathered in front of the Presidential Palace, a day before Elections, to emphasize climate change issues should not be a part of political dispute as it concerns everybody. Youth Climate Strike members declared that no matter who will win on Sunday elections, they will expect from the winning candidate an ambitious and efficient approach to climate issues, especially reducing Polish CO2 emissions.
Belarusians in Poland gathered against elections allegedly rigged by Lukashenko, who claims to get 80% of votes (having real support at the level of around 3% Belarusians claim). Multiple Poles gathered around, including deputies, showing words of support & understanding. During the protest participants were informed about guns being used in Belarus and multiple people being shot as well about arresting main challanging candidate in the elections – Svietlana Ciechanouska. Some people cried.

Masculine Rosary takes place every 1st Saturday of the month. Prayers are lead by a priest, however everything is being onrganised by men-only religious organisations like Soliders of Christ, Army of God or Holy Mary Warriors – all with military-like style entourage. Soliders of Christ (Zolnierze Chrystusa) were founded to “defend Polish women from islamic migrants”, now they’ve incorporated anti-LGBT rhetorics as well.
Extinction Rebellion activists marched through one of Warsaw’s bridges over Vistula river wearing blue – a color of water. Symbolism as well was to emphasize sorrow and feeling of loss – as there’s no life without water – and we are having less and less of it all around the planet (but Poland as well).
Young libertarians (“Youth of the Future”) marched through Warsaw in demend for equal rights for everybody, free market, free marijuana and free marriage rights for everybody (thus including LGBT rights). On of their demands was also to remove gender distinguishing from the law, and replace it with “citizen” term. They also critisezed both sides of politics scene challanging far right for their nationalism, and leftists for their social programme.
After reports from Belarus, that President Lukashenko just organised his own swearing-in, Belarusian minority in Warsaw gathered in rally and a march against “the last dictator in Europe”, who allegedly rigged the elections in August. Warsaw, Poland, on September 23, 2020.

A very large number of students marched through Warsaw to rise climate issues awareness, calling politicians to finally take serious actions on the topic and emphasizing social inequalities driven by climate changes around the world. Polish feminists, from “Ogolnopolski Strajk Kobiet” (Nationwide Women’s Strike) – as due to Dovid19 public gatherings are almost banned – organised a motorcade protest around the Constitutional Court, that is to allegedly to ban abortion within a few days. Warsaw, Poland, on October 19, 2020.
Constitutional Court decided to ban abortions for fetal indications. Outside the court activists from both sides gathered in prayers for the judges to introduce the ban or in protest against limiting women reproductive rights. Protests don’t stop after Constitutional Court introduced abortion ban over a month ago. Theme of today’s protest was linked with 102nd anniversary of voting rights being granted to Polish women. Protest started in the city center by renaming key crossroads of Warsaw city center to “Women Rights Roundabout”. After that protesters marched through the city with the Police trying to stop it due to alleged covid linked limitations, or cut it off – resulting however only with protesters changing the route.
